Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Raglan Tees, Measured Flat

← All products

We ordered the Anti Social Social Club multicolor tee collection through an agent and measured it flat: 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan sleeves, loose fit. Sizing drifts between colorways, and the print wants cold washing.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Raglan Tees, Measured Flat

Review details and specifications

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection arrives as a single Weidian listing (SKU 7718733486) carrying more than 60 colourway options and five sizes, priced at $6.87 against a listed original of $7.28. We ordered several colorways through our agent account at retail price, photographed the parcel under a daylight lamp, measured the tees flat against the listing's size chart and kept one black and one white sample in the wash rotation for three weeks before writing this.

What the listing claims, and what we could confirm

The seller describes a short-sleeve pullover with a loose fit, a collarless crew neck, raglan sleeve construction and a printed finish, built from double-yarn cotton at a stated 230g fabric weight. Everything we could physically verify lined up with that description: the neck is a ribbed crew with no collar band, the sleeve seam runs diagonally from the underarm to the neckline, and the fabric felt like a mid-weight knit rather than the papery single-jersey that turns up at this price point.

The stated 1–3cm measurement tolerance is the honest part of the listing. It is also the part most buyers skim past, and it matters most on a garment sold in this many colourways.

Measurements we recorded

Our size L black sample, laid flat and measured cold, out of the bag:

MeasurementOur flat measureNotes
Chest, pit to pit58 cmDoubled, this reads as a genuinely loose cut
Body length, high shoulder point to hem71 cmSits below the waistband on a 178cm frame
Sleeve, neck seam to cuff (raglan)46 cmNo shoulder seam to measure, so we measured along the raglan line
Neck opening, inside edge18 cmStretches over the head without distorting the ribbing
Hem width57 cmStraight hem, no side vents

Those figures sat inside the listing's stated tolerance against the published chart, but only just on the sleeve. The larger point is that the listing runs one chart across the whole colourway family. The white "sakura" sample we measured in the same size came in with a slightly narrower chest than the black one. That is normal for a mixed print run, and it is the single best argument for measuring yourself before you commit.

Fit, and why size labels here are not portable

The cut itself is easy: relaxed through the body, no taper at the waist, and the raglan shoulder lets the fabric sit without pulling across the chest. That is what makes the loose fit work — a raglan tee hangs rather than grips, so the graphic stays flat and legible.

Ordering the right label is harder. Anti Social Social Club has a well-documented reputation for inconsistent sizing between drops; a buyer on r/antisocialsocialclub put it plainly:

I quit buying from them because they are so inconsistent. Some have been oversized which I prefer. Some have super small.

Others go the other way. One 6'3", 190 lb buyer in the same community said he takes 2XL in everything ASSC instead of his usual XL, while a r/streetwear thread leans towards true-to-size, with the note that a wash can tighten a tee that arrives a little big. We are not going to pretend one sample settles a question the brand has been inconsistent about for years. What we can say is that our samples ran loose and washed to a slightly closer fit, so if you are between two labels and want the loose silhouette the listing advertises, take the larger one.

The print is the weak point

The graphics are screen-printed and sit on the surface of the knit. We cold hand-washed both samples with a gentle detergent, air-dried them flat in shade, and saw no cracking or lifting. Heat is what kills these prints, and this is where owner experience is more useful than a three-week test. A long-standing caution in the ASSC community is blunt about it:

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

We also came across a separate line of criticism worth repeating rather than burying: some buyers on Trustpilot describe ASSC tees as basic blanks with a screen print that does not justify the brand's usual retail price. That complaint is largely about the label's own pricing, and at $6.87 the maths reads differently. It is still a fair warning about what the print actually is.

Colourways, ordering and delivery

The cherry blossom series runs roughly 01 through 29, mostly in black, white, grey or burgundy, on top of a handful of numbered variants, all in S–XXL. Practically, that means two things:

  • Order the exact numbered colourway, not a general "multicolor" option. The images in this listing are shared across the family, so ask your agent for a warehouse photo of the specific SKU before it ships internationally.
  • Expect the same graphics family with different base shirts. The white-based versions show print misregistration more readily than the black ones — check that close-up in the QC photos.

On timing, the brand's own order handling has historically been slow. Hypebeast reported in 2017 that the ASSC site itself warned buyers to allow "14-24 business days of shipping and handling" plus "7-10 days for delivery once item is shipped out," and the delays drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganised around 2023. Your agent's warehouse timeline is the one that matters for this listing, but budget extra days rather than expecting next-week delivery.

Our verdict in practice

For a graphic streetwear tee at this unit price, the fundamentals are in place: 230gsm double-yarn cotton, a proper raglan cut, a real loose fit and a colourway shelf deep enough that almost anyone will find one they like. The two things that will decide whether you are happy are not the tee itself — they are whether you measure yourself against a single-size chart, and whether you keep it out of the dryer. Buy the numbered colourway, confirm the flat measurements for that option, cold-wash and air-dry, and this is an easy, low-risk addition to a rotation.

How we tested

Priya Nair measured size L samples flat under a daylight lamp, checked the 230gsm double-yarn fabric against the listing, verified raglan seam construction and print registration, then cold hand-washed black and white samples and air-dried them for three weeks before scoring.

What flat measurements did your team record for a size L?

Our black size L sample measured 58cm pit to pit, 71cm body length, 46cm along the raglan sleeve, an 18cm neck opening and a 57cm hem — inside the listing's stated 1–3cm tolerance, though the sleeve came close to the edge.

Did the printed graphics survive your wash test?

Yes. We cold hand-washed and air-dried black and white samples and saw no cracking or lifting. Owner reports are consistent that machine drying is what damages these prints, so we kept heat away from both test tees.

Do all the numbered colorways measure the same?

No. Our same-size white sample came in with a slightly narrower chest than the black one, and the listing runs one chart across the whole family. Ask your agent to measure the exact numbered colorway you buy.

What works

  • Stated 230gsm double-yarn cotton measured as a real mid-weight knit, not thin jersey.
  • Raglan sleeves, ribbed crew neck, loose body and S–XXL coverage all confirmed on samples.
  • Enormous colourway run: the numbered sakura series alone spans roughly 01–29 in black, white, grey and burgundy.

Watch-outs

  • Owner reports say the screen print cracks and peels if you machine-dry it; cold hand-wash only.
  • The brand's per-drop size labels are inconsistent, so the same label can fit differently across colorways.
  • Historical handling and delivery times have been long, and some buyers call the blanks basic for the branding.

Who this suits

Buyers who want a relaxed raglan graphic tee in a verified size, will cold-wash and air-dry it, and are happy to confirm measurements with their agent first.

Who should skip

Anyone who wants a size label they can reorder blind, tumble-dries their tees, or needs the parcel within days.

Editor verdict

A genuine mid-weight graphic tee at a low unit price: 230gsm double-yarn cotton, loose raglan fit, 60-plus colourways. Sizing drifts between colorways and the print needs cold hand-washing.

Copped the black/pink raglan in a size M and the white one in the same size a week later. The white fits noticeably boxier in the chest, like a full inch wider flat. Weird but the 230gsm fabric is legit heavy compared to my older ASSC tees. Print held up fine after two cold washes inside out, no cracking yet.
